I had the privilege to meet again MAUREEN MBONDIAH-MANDIPAZA, the Award Winning Author of Tales Of Womanhood and the co-authors who publsihed their own tales in  Volume 1, and asked them what is the secret of finding your purpose as an  author. This is what they told us...
MAUREEN MBONDIAH-MANDIPAZA: LEAD AUTHOR, CHAPTER 8 "MY JOURNEY TO FINDING THE JEWEL IN ME"says:
 "Walk in your purpose unapologetically.”

Maureen is the founder of Womanhood Global and creator of Tales of Womanhood Book Series. She is a proud mother of three children Donell 19, Sean 15 and Hannah Mae aged 2. She is happily married to her husband Don Mandipaza who she runs a successful Healthcare Business with. Maureen has lived in the UK for more than 20 years and her life is a testimony of courage and determination to succeed against all odds. Despite going through challenges herself, she teaches us that your failures are not your final destination but the beginning of self- discovery. She is a multi- talented woman and philanthropist at heart who has the passion to empower, inspire and ignite women to be more and do more. Maureen is the founder of Womanhood Global an organisation that empowers and supports disadvantaged young women in Africa and has been actively involved in championing successful fundraising projects and initiatives to support this client group.

 

RACHEL TRACY: AUTHOR OF CHAPTER 1 "TRANSITION FROM SELF HATE TO SELF LOVE" says:

“ To find your purpose you have to remember that you are the first and best version of yourself”

Rachel Tracey is a teacher of secondary maths and a specialist biomedical scientist and director of the company TRACE Monday Motes which specialises in motivational services. Rachel lives in London, England. Her passion is seeing and effecting CHANGE through positive exchanges with people from all walks of life, but particularly with young people. Rachel believes in being more than mediocre and pushing hard to fulfil her purpose. She is an active part of her church community. She leads worship, is the acting assistant youth director and teaches in the Sunday school. Rachel believes in God's saving grace and has learnt on guidance from above to get her thus far through faith. Her biggest achievement to date is getting to know and accept herself. It is her prayer that all who come into contact with her or her words are blessed and encouraged.

EFIRITHA CHAURAYA: AUTHOR OF CHAPTER 2 "BREAKING BOUNDARIES" told us :

“It only takes grit, hard work, tenacity and ambition to achieve any goal. This is my philosophy.”

Professor Efiritha Chauraya is an associate professor in the Department of Gender Studies at Midlands State University (MSU), Gweru, Zimbabwe where she currently lives. She is also the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Education at MSU. Efiritha holds a Doctorate in International and Comparative Education with the University of South Africa. She was previously the Deputy Dean in the same faculty and prior to that, she was a lecturer at Bondolfi Teachers’ College. She also worked as a maths teacher in several schools in Masvingo Province, Zimbabwe. She has published over 25 articles and two book chapters. Efiritha has a keen interest in working with women and girls in rural and marginalised communities. Her research interests include gender and education; gender-based violence, gender and development, and curriculum issues

PASTOR SANDRA JESUS: AUTHOR OF CHAPTER 3 "TURNING REJECTION INTO DIRECTION" says:

Push Me To The Front™ and has authored 17 books.

EDITH MAZIOFA-TAPFUMA: AUTHOR OF CHAPTER 4 "CONVERSATIONS WITH A WOMAN LIKE ME" says:

“Life is a cycle of valleys and mountain tops and we should embrace them all with grace, yes in the valleys much grace is needed.” 

A development practitioner with a background in Psychology, Demography and Public Health. Edith has studied, lived and worked in the UK, Afghanistan, Zimbabwe and several African countries. She currently lives in Zimbabwe. Edith has over 19 years’ experience working in development sector jobs. Sheh has a hunger and passion to see social change especially relating to women’s socio-economic, political and cultural rights. She is currently: - Regional Coordinator in Southern Africa for an International Organisation, Board Chair for Safe Haven Zimbabwe a member of the Zimbabwe National Technical Working Group on Gender and HIV & AIDS and a Committee Member for Chevening Scholarship Alumni Zimbabwe Edith provides mentorship and coaching to local NGOs, young women and girls. She supports after school clubs in engaging young people in HIV/AIDS issues and facilitating life skills and career guidance. She also promotes delayed debut, sexual reproductive health and encourages youngsters to be involved in community activities. 

 MELODY CHIPO-MAKUWAZA: AUTHOR OF CHAPTER 5 "BEYOND THE MASK" says:

“Take one day at a time in this new way of life, one day at a time. You are still here.” 

Melody Chipo Makuwaza is a resilient African woman, who tells powerful stories through motivational speaking and writing. She is a Facilitator and a Life Coach who helps her clients move from being stuck to unstuck and let go of limiting self-beliefs in order to gain clarity and step into their brilliance. As a Speaker and Author, Melody gains life lessons from her own experiences and from other people of courage, tenacity and resilience. She lives in Harare, Zimbabwe. Melody is Founder and Executive Director of The Mentoring Class, a charity whose objectives are to mentor, inspire and create opportunities for young people. Having struggled with low self-esteem as a teenager, and only finding her authentic voice later in life, Melody's passion is
to motivate, encourage and inspire others to show up and amplify their voices.

EDITH UTETE: AUTHOR OF CHAPTER 6 "FINDING LIGHT IN THE DARK" says:

“Do not be so hard on yourself. Find your inner light and let it shine brightly. ” 

Edith is a devoted wife and mother who loves making a positive impact on others. She lives with her husband Michael and their four children; in Harare, Zimbabwe. She is an author, a poet, blogger, speaker, trainer, thought leader and lawyer with a keen interest in Broadcasting, Space, Cyber, Telecommunications and Intellectual Property laws. Edith is a member of the Zimbabwe Academic Research Network (ZARNet) Board. Edith is also passionate about the protection of children and is always exploring ways of safeguarding their interests. As the Founder of DigitalAgeConversations, she gives advice on safe, responsible and legal internet use to parents, children, educators and businesses and raises awareness on the effects of technology on children and young people. Edith seeks to inspire others with her spiritual, personal and professional experiences. She is the Zimbabwe Chapter Lead for Women in Tech Africa, is a mentor for girls in STEM through 4STEM. She is also a contributor to the Women in Law Connect initiative. 

BIANCA SMITH: AUTHOR OF CHAPTER 7 "HOW THE QUEEN CAME TO BEE" says:

“Believe that as long as you believe in yourself, anything is possible.” 

Bianca settled in the UK in 2006 She is a young vibrant single parent to three beautiful children. Bianca is a singer songwriter, performer, co-author, award winner and Womanhood Global Ambassador. She is currently working towards a PhD in Occupational Psychology. She has been singing in talent shows and at weddings and events since she was 13 years old. Her talent was first spotted at age 16 when she was offered a music deal in her hometown but at this point she chose a career in modelling. Other music labels have approached her but at times in her life when she was not able to take up the opportunity. She has completed an album this year and is looking to release a music video with a single in the next few months. Her love for music and life, along with her fight and strength have helped her battle with cancer twice. Bianca has been featured on radio and television and in several magazine.
